no.of boxes weighing 5kg = 1

no.of boxes weighing. = 500/50

not beyond 500kg

= 10

Therefore 10 such boxes can be loaded in a van which cannot carry beyond 500 Kg .

Given :-

Medicine is packed in boxes,each weighing 5 Kg.

To Find :-

How many such boxes can be loaded in a van which cannot carry beyond 500 Kg ?

Solution :-

Given that,

Weight of one box = 5 kg

Weight that can carry = 500 kg

Hence,

\sf No.\; of\; boxes = \dfrac{Total\;Weight}{Weight\;of\;each\;box}

⟼ No of box = 500 / 5

⟼ No of box = 100

Therefore, the van can carry 100 boxes.
