Answer:

Meena purchases 12 pens for Rs 108

so cost of each pen is Rs108/12=Rs 9

Seema purchases 8 pens for Rs 96

so cost of each pen is Rs 96/8=Rs 12

So Meena got the pens at cheaper rate

Meena

Total cost = 108

no. of pens. = 12

cost of one

pen = 108 / 12

= 9

Seema

total. = 96

no. of pen. = 8

cost of one. = 96/8

= 12

cheaper one is 9 Rs

So Meena got Pen for cheaper rate
