let,

meena's age be x

meena's father's age be 6x

Five years from now

meena's age will be 1/3(6x)

meena's father's agr will be 6x+5

A/Q

x+5+6x+5=2x+6x+5

=>x+6x-2x-6x=5-5-5

=> -x =-5

=> x =5

therefore, meena's age = x

= 5

meena's father's age = 6x

= 6×5

= 30
