Hey mate,..

Let no. of Rs. 50 notes = x

    no. of Rs. 100 notes = y

Total notes = 25

⇒ x + y = 25

⇒ x = 25-y

total amount only in Rs. 50 notes = 50x

total amount only in Rs. 100 notes = 100y

Total amount = 2000

⇒ 50x + 100y = 2000

⇒50(25-y) + 100y = 2000

⇒50×25 - 50y + 100y = 2000

⇒1250 +50 y = 2000

⇒ 50y = 2000-1250 = 750

⇒ y = 750/50 = 15

    x = 25-15 = 10

No. of Rs. 50 notes = 10

No. of Rs. 100 notes = 15

Hope it will help you

Answer:

10,15

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number of 50 rupee notes received by Meena be x.

Let the number of 100 rupee notes received by Meena be y.

(i)

Given that She got 25 notes in all.

x + y = 25

(ii)

Given that she went to withdraw 2000.

50x + 100y = 2000

On solving (i) * 50 & (ii), we get

50x + 50y = 1250

50x + 100y = 2000

--------------------------------

        50y = 750

           y = 15

Substitute y = 15 in (ii), we get

⇒ 50x + 100y = 2000

⇒ 50x + 100(15) = 2000

⇒ 50x + 1500 = 2000

⇒ x = 10.

Therefore:

Number of 50 rupee notes = 10

Number of 100 rupee notes = 15

Hope it helps!
