meena went to bank to withdraw ₹2000.she asked the cashier to give has ₹50 and ₹100 notes in all. Find how many notes of ₹50 and ₹100 she received?

Solution:

Let she received x notes of Rs 50 and y notes of Rs 100

then according to question,

50x + 100y = 2000

Based on this equation , x and y can have multiple values,  for eg.

x=2  y=19

x=4    y=18

x= 6  y=17

So this question can have multiple answers and one of the answer is x=6 and y= 17 , So she received 6 notes of Rs 50 and 17 notes of Rs 100.
