Now ,


Cost Price + G.S.T = ₹ 22000

x + 28 % of x = ₹ 22000

x + 28 / 100 x = ₹ 22000

128 / 100 x = ₹ 22000

x = ₹ ( 22000 × 100 / 128 )

x = ₹ 17187.50


Hence ,

Price of the A.C before G.S.T was added is ₹ 17187.50
