and her twin Brother's age be y

• Meera is 10years older than her twin brothers.

x = 10 + y ...... ( i )

° After three years

Meera's age will be ( x + 3 )

Twin brothers age will be ( y + 6 )

• after 3 years from now thrice her age will be four times the sum of her brothers age.

3 ( x + 3 ) = 4 ( y + 6 )

3x + 9 = 4y + 24

3x - 4y = 24 - 9

3x - 4y = 15 .... ( ii )

Putting value of x from ( i ) in ( ii )

3x - 4y = 15

3 ( 10 + y ) - 4y = 15

30 + 3y - 4y = 15

- y = - 15

y = 15

Putting value of y in ( i )

x = 10 + y

x = 10 + 15

x = 25

Meera's age is 25 years.
