Meera went to a bank to withdraw rupees 2,000. She asked the cashier to give her Rs 50 and Rs 100 notes only. Meera got 25 note in all. Find how many notes of Rs 50 and Rs 100 she received? no copying​

Let Meena has received x no. of 50 rs notes and y no. of 100 rs notes.

So,

➝50 x + 100 y =2000

➝x+y=25

multiply by 50

➝50x + 100y=2000

➝50 x + 50 y = 1250

________________

➝50y = 750

➝Y= 15

Putting value of y=15 in equation (2)

➝x+15=25

➝ x = 10

Meena has received 10 pieces 50 rs notes and 15 pieces of 100 rs notes
