A social problem is a problem that affects many people in a society. There are many profound and clear categories in a social problem. This is a growing issue in our society that we see happening. A social issue can be seen as a problem affecting many people and many people are trying to resolve the problem. It is often a product of causes that go beyond the control of an individual and a source of conflicting opinions based on what is deemed to be morally correct or wrong personal or social life.

India has taken its place as one of the world's fastest-growing economies yet, for the in the name of growth and development, loses much behind it. As the wealthy become richer and the poor get poorer, the difference has increased. From the increasing poverty, to the corruption at an all-time high, the increasing violence against women across the nation, the incidents of terrorism that rock some or the other city, and the rising prices of basic amenities, are some of the scariest facts of this fast-growing economy, India.

  • Poverty: This is one of India's greatest evils in today's scenario. With a growing population of people across the nation at the bottom of the poverty line, it looks like an endless issue. The current problem has been compounded by increasing inflation. India is suffering an incredibly because of this evil.
  • Corruption: Corruption ruins the nation's infrastructure and has had an adverse effect on India's economy. The list of controversies and scandals that engulfed the country from inside India is shocking.
  • Terrorism: Since the day that India was partitioned, terrorism has affected India. A long-standing unresolved issue has been the Kashmir conflict between India and Pakistan. This was also used by the neighboring country in the worst possible manner to terrorize India. In addition, countless terrorist incidents occurred in Kashmir and the surrounding regions like Srinagar and the largest cities of the country.
  • Communalism: India has, since its creation, suffered from communal disparities, being a blend of different cultures and religions. In various incidents across the world, group clashes have led to a lot of violence.
  • Inflation: In recent years, inflation has been seen as one of the biggest problems facing people. The rising prices of basic equipment have fuel the people. Increased food and fuel rates had so much affected the middle-class pockets that they were brought out in protest on the road.
  • Violence against Women: In India, women still live in constant fear. Every women iving in India is plagued by fear of being alone. India's image has been tainted by rising cases of sexual abuse and rape in the whole world.
  • Illiteracy: Illiteracy impacts all areas of life. Those with low literacy skills are much more likely to live in poverty, face a crisis of their wellbeing because they cannot read medication labels and directions and become more computer-dependent in a world that is segregated..
  • Beggary: Beggary is India's biggest social issue. Poverty and unemployment are the main causes in our country. In our culture, there are many gangs nowadays who tend to pray in an organized way.
  • Dowry System: The dowry custom is one of the worst social practices in our society. Despite the law's prohibition of the practice of both giving and receiving dowry and punishable crimes, the tradition is so deeply ingrained into our society that it remains unabashed. Whether urban or rural India, this law is flagrantly violated.
  • Caste-Discrimination: Discrimination based on caste sometimes even resulted in crime. The caste system also makes it difficult to operate politically in our community. Society is divided into artificial groups which tend to support their candidate. You don't really know whether or not you are a worthy candidate. This is not ideal for democracy's survival in India. No real progress can be made in our country unless it is absolutely uprooted.
  • Unemployment: This is a major social concern because it harms both the unemployed and society as a whole. Labour that is not used for production means continuous loss of productivity and reduction in consumption. Unemployment is therefore defined as a grave personal and social problem.
