meeting point of sodium chloride is 1074 I and melting point of magnesium chloride is 981k. why does they have different melting point.


1. Mgcl is soluble in kerosene and petrol.
2. nacl is formed by combining one atom of na and on molecule of mg
3. mgcl is formed by combining one atom of mg and one molecule of chlorine.
4. nacl has strong inter ionic bond
