'Meghnath Saha' Award is given for outstanding contribution for Research in Theoretical Sciences.

'Meghnath Saha' Award is awarded every year to outstanding scientists (from 1974 onwards).

The University Grants Commission with the help of an endowment made by Hari Om Ashram Trust, Nadiad, has instituted this award.
