Meiosis never occurs in organisms that are haploid. Is this true. Why?

Yes,meiosis never occurs in haploid organisms

Criteria for meiosis is that it happens in diploid organisms as meiosis is a reduction division.

Because organism is haploid itself so meiosis can't occur in such organisms..
