At appropriate temperature and pressure, these states get interchanged. When we melt a candle we can find the conversion of solid into liquid and again liquid into solid.
The candle is a solid substance. When we light the wick of the candle, due to heat from the wick, the candle starts to melt and gets converted into liquid. When the wick is putt off, the liquid gets again converted into solid due to difference in the temperature.
