While burning of wax candle involves both physical and chemical change. This is so because the cotton present inside the candle burns out and a little ash is formed of that cotton. Thus azh cannot be retransformed to cotton bak again. So it is a chemical change. On the other hand, it is also a physical change because the solid wax melts to form a liquid
