No it is not directly proportional to mass. Melting and boiling are directly proportional to pressures.

optimist92: Smaller molecules have greaterthermal motion, on average, than big molecules because kinetic energy is proportional to mass and the square of velocity. So in general, we would expect smaller molecules to have a lower boiling point.
