Melting point of a solid (x) is 300 0c and that of solid (y) is 550 0c. Which of them is expected to have stronger force of attraction between its constituent particles ?

i think y 550 0c beacuse the force of attraction is stronger thats why it melt at a higher temp

y is the answer since the solid y melts at a higher point than solid x which means that the force of attraction between the particles of solid y is higher than that of solid x
