Menander was a follower of Buddhism religion. Menander was the king of the Indo Greek kingdom. Firstly, he was the king of  Bactria, after winning Punjab he move to the India. He was born in Kalasi of Alexandria of the Caucasus, at present time its was know as Bagram town of Afghanistan. He breathed his last in 130 BC.
