Heya !!!

Here's the answer!!

✔✔Mendel is Well known as Father of Genetics as he was the first to explain the means of heredity is gene which he called as Factor...✔✔

▶Mendel selected Pea plants (Pisum sativum) as for his experiments as they are Annual, Bisexual (with both male and female reproductive parts) , convenient for cross pollination and are easily grown .

▶He considered 7 contrasting characters : Height of the tree , Colour of the flower , Position of the flower, Pod colour , seed colour , shape of the seed , colour of the seed coat .....

♦♦ Mendel's experiment on true breeding pea plants with Characters tall (TT)and dwarf(tt) (short) ♦♦

➡Mendel crossed a true breeding tall pea plant with a true breeding dwarf pea plant....

➡The plants (Progeny) thus produced by cross pollination is First filial progeny (F1) .

➡All the F1 progeny are Tall (TT)in appearance ....

➡It means the tall character is dominant over the dwarf character.

➡The allele(Alternate form of gene / factor) for tallness is dominant as it is expressed in F1 generation and the allele for dwarfness is recessive as it's suppressed in F1 generation.

Based on his observations on this he Proposed The Law of Dominance....

Hope this helps you :)
