In the first generation Mendel mixed Purple color of plant with white color and the color became 100%.
In the second generation Mendel mixed Purple color of plant with purple but the color became 75% purple and 25% white.
(purple is dominant and white is recessive)
example:
tall and short
(tall is dominant and short is recessive)
dominant trait: the trait observed in the first generation, parents that are different are bred.
recessive trait: the trait that reappears in the second generation after disappearing in the first generation. parents with different traits are bred.
