b) The length and Breadth of rectangular plot is 13m 50cm. Find length of wire required to fence that plot and also find the cost of fencing if 1m of wire cost Rs. 5.​

Length and Breadth of plot = 13 cm × 50 cm

$\textrm{Length of wire required to fence the plot = Circumference of plot </p><p></p><p>}$

$\tt = > 2(length \: + width) \\ \tt = > 2(13 + 50) \\ \tt= > 2 \times 63 \\ \tt = > 126 \: cm \\ \sf or \\ \tt = > 1.26 \: m$

We have,

• Rate of fencing = Rs. 5 per metre

Therefore,

• Total Cost of fencing = Rs. (5 × 1.26)

= Rs. 6.30
