volume = 14^3 = 2520 cm3

cone of maximum size in the cube will have

diameter= 14cm

radius = 7 cm

height = 14 cm

Volume of cone = 1/3 πr^2h = 1/3 × 22/7 × 7×7×14 = 2156/3 = 718.67 cm3

Volume of remaining material= 2520 - 718.67 = 1801.33cm3
