Answer:

The nuclear power plants have their own importance and drawbacks.

1. Economic Impact.... Setting a nuclear powerplant is an arduous task for a government. the investment needs to be gigantic. At first there should be proper availability of monozite sands, uranium, thorium, etc and also proper means for the transportation and production of the radioactive materials. It requires several nuclear reactors that cost a large amount to any economy. Also there is a need to set up large infrastructure in order to create a nuclear powerplant.

2. Environmental issues...... The nuclear powerplant has several environmental issues. the set up of a nuclear plant needs the clearing of forest in a large scale for the establishment of a nuclear powerplant. It also devastates the ecosystem of a place.

3. Social issues..... When there is a planning to build a nuclear powerplant large number of people are displaced from their dwelling places.

4. health issues...... If the proper disposal of the radioactive wastes is not possible it messes up the DNA of human as well as animals. it also adds to the total cancer patients.

5. A threat of failure and disaster ..... where there is a nuclear powerplant, there is a chance of nuclear disaster like the Chernobyl disaster or the Fukushima disaster.

thus the nuclear powerplants are always pose a stake to the people in its surroundings.
