Hii,
UAE has winds blowing near Arab peninsula around the Persian gulf. It causes heavy sandstorm and it is dangerous to go outside on such weather. Also there's a lot of garbage to clean after this.

Answer:

The local wind blowing in the UAE is called ‘Shamal’.

Explanation:

The Shamal is the northwesterly winds which blow in the UAE. These are more prevalent during the summer months. They blow strongly during the day and become lesser in intensity during the nights.

These blow for four to five days and create less visibility on the roads and at times result in accidents and damage. These winds bring sandstorms with a lot of dust and sand. The winter Shamal results in cold temperatures with snow in certain areas.
