(i) while the liberals favoured the idea of privileges the radicals were opposed to privileges of landowners and wealthy factory owners.

(ii) The liberals wanted voting rights for propertied classes only, while the radicals believed in universal franchise.

(iii)Though both were in favour of private property, the radicals were opposed to concentration of wealth in few hands.

(i) Liberals desired a country that respected all religions. Radicals, on the other extreme, desired a nation governed by the significant proportion of a country's inhabitants.

(ii) Liberals opposed universal adult voting rights. They believed that only males with property should be allowed to vote. Radicals, on the other extreme, were against the privileges of large landowners and affluent industry owners.

(iii) Liberals opposed women having the right to vote. Many radicals, on the other extreme, backed the suffragette campaign.
