The ROwaltt act 1919: Rowlatt Acts, dated February 1919, legislation which was passed by the Imperial Legislative Council, of British India. The acts allowed certain political cases to be tried without enough legal aids  and also  permitted jail  of the  suspects without trial.

The vernacular press act: Vernacular Press Act, in British India, effected  in 1878 to curtail the freedom of the Indian-language, that is non-English by  press.

The Act was  Proposed by Lord Lytton,  viceroy of India,during 1876–80, the act was formed to prevent the vernacular press from expressing criticism of British policiesThe arms act 1919: Post  the 1857 Revolt, the responsibility of ruling India was directly assumed by the Britain.

Lord Lytton became the Viceroy  in 1858. The Indian Arms Act of 1878 was imposed and  legislated during Lord Lytton’s time.As per this act, no Indians could make,sell, possess, and carry firearms.
