The four executive power of governor are:-
1.The Constitution vests in the governor all the executive powers of the state government. The governor appoints the chief minister, who enjoys the support of the majority in the State Legislative Assembly.

The governor also appoints the other members of the Council of Ministers and distributes portfolios to them on the advice of the chief minister.
3. The governor also appoint persons on important posts such as the Chairpersons and Members of the State Public Service.
4. The governor is consulted when the Judges of the State High Court are appointed by the President. But in practice, the Governor’s powers are only formal.

b) The Governor is consulted by the President in the appointment of judges of the State High Court.
