Answer:

BLOOD:

Blood has three main functions: transport, protection and regulation. Blood transports the following substances: Gases, namely oxygen (O2) and carbon dioxide (CO2), between the lungs and rest of the body. Nutrients from the digestive tract and storage sites to the rest of the body.

HEART:

The human heart is an organ that pumps blood throughout the body via the circulatory system, supplying oxygen and nutrients to the tissues and removing carbon dioxide and other wastes.

Hey friend..

Here is your answer :

Functions of blood -

1. Blood Is Fluid Connective Tissue.

2. Blood Provides the Body's Cells with Oxygen and Removes Carbon Dioxide.

3. Blood Transports Nutrients and Hormones.

4. Blood Regulates Body Temperature.

5. Blood Brings Waste Products to the Kidneys and Liver.

Functions of heart -

1. It takes the blood from vena cava ( both superior and inferior ).

2. It pumps blood through the pulmonary artery to the lungs.

3. After the lungs oxygenate the received blood, blood is sent to the heart through the pulmonary vein.

4. The heart then pumps the oxygenated blood for the whole body through the aorta.

Hope this helps you

:-)
