I was good at English from my school days, and I was doing English Honours course from Delhi University. But most people who came to know about my course thought that I will be an English teacher one day. I didn't understand why did all of them thought so.

Then I realized that they have a tendency to stereotype women to be teachers. Luckily, I broke the stereotype, and now I'm an English writer.

Thank God, my family supported me and never insisted on me to become a teacher.

Is this the only profession women are supposed to be comfortable with?
