  • The "Minimum Wages Act (1948)",  and "Child Labor Prohibition & Regulation Act" (1986) sought to safeguard the workers' interests.
  • The "Maternity Benefit Act" (1961) & "Equal Remuneration Act" (1976) have been "implemented" to safeguard women workers' interests of women workers

  • The "National Forest Policy (1988)"", aims at the conservation,protection,  development of forests, and so on.
  • The Govt has abolished the "Zamandari system" & introduced the land reform program to do away with the "old-feudal" social-economic structure" of "rural India".
  • "Nationalisation" of "banks", "insurance companies" and some key industries have been done to ensure that the ownership of the community's material resources are so "distributed"  to ensure the "best service" for the "common good".
