Following are the three major activities people undertook during the Quit India movement :

peaceful with demonstrations and processions during the first half of the movement. The peaceful protest was carried till until Mahatma Gandhi was released.

The second half of the movement was violent in nature with raids and setting the fire at Govt. offices including post offices, government buildings, and railway stations.

The final phase of the movement was carried out from  September 1942 where mobs assembled and bombed in government places of Mumbai and Madhya Pradesh.
