Three discretionary powers of the Indian President are:-
- The President can use his powers without asking anyone from the council of ministers.
- He can easily break down the Lok Sabha if it fails to complete the wishes of the citizen. It is the duty of the President to preserve the political work in Parliamentary democracy.
- The President can annunciate a war or bring peace, it all depends on him. All the agreements and contracts are formed in the president's name.
