1) The president had the power to dissolve the Lok Sabha whenever required.

2) The president has the power to impose emergency and suspend civic rights when required.

3) All bills require the assent of the president before becoming a law. The president can suggest some changes in the bills and send it for reconsiderations to the parliament.

making of laws.
(ii) The President has the power to dissolve the Lok -Sabha. She can summon joint sitting of both houses of Parliament.
(iii) The President has the power to send messages to either house of the Parliament either regarding any pending bill or any other matter.
