Answer:
There are a variety of methods for determining the magnitude and direction of the result of adding two or more vectors. The two methods that will be discussed in this lesson and used throughout the entire unit are: the Pythagorean theorem and trigonometric methods. the head-to-tail method using a scaled vector diagram.

Three methods are parallelogram addition, triangular addition and direct addition.
- The statement says that if two vectors are head to head or tail to tail or we can say they are adjacent side of parallelogram. The resultant vector is the diagonal vector of the parallelogram.
- The triangular addition says that, two sides of triangular vectors when added it becomes equal to the third side of the triangle. That represents in the magnitude and direction of the vectors.
- The third one is the simple addition of vectors, if all the quantities are vectors you can simply add.
