Mention any two efforts made by Gandhi ji to get Harijans their rights?

(i) He said that the Swaraj would not come for a hundred years if untouchability was not eliminated.

(ii) He organised Satyagraha to secure them entry into temples, and access to public wells, tanks, roads and schools.

(iii) He signed Poona Pact with Dr. B.R. Ambedkar through which some seats were reserved for them in provincial and central legislative councils.

(iv) He lived with them and condemned untouchability.  

(v) He did their work like cleaning toilets, roads to show that they also did work which was very important and that they should be treated properly and with respect.

(vi) He didnt call them untouchables, he called them harijans meaning the people of god
