Have you ever wondered what causes the sky appear red when the sun sets?
During sunset the sun gets lower in the sky, therefore the blue light is scattered in the sky giving' Red Sunset' .
And what about blue sky?
During the day, the sun rays travel through thin layer of atmosphere.Violet and blue light are scattered the most as their wavelengths are shortest. But we can't see the violet light as our eyes capture blue light more easily, hence the sky appears blue
The two phenomenon are Blue sky and red sky.
