However, in this question, it is not clear that which country’s president we are talking about but if we have to discuss about the powers of the president of Indian then there are several.

He is the head of the country and the first citizen too. Amongst all his powers, which are worth mentioning are, he has the power to appoint the prime minister, attorney general and other chairpersons of the important boards of the central government.

He also has the power to pardon any punishment bestowed on any person.
