The first estate of people of France had many priveleges. Some of them are as follows:

* The first and the most important privelege that the members of the first estate enjoyed was that they were exempted from paying the taxes to the State.

* Secondly, they enjoyed feudal priveleges such as the feudal dues, which they ruthlessly extracted from the poor peasants..
