Ans. ) President is the very biggest post . He / She is the constitutional head of a country. President are empowers with many privileges . The main two of them are :-


1.) President is the commander in chief of armed forces and He / She has a privilege to declare a war or conclude peace .


2.) The President has the privileges to nominate two Anglo-Indians to the Lok Sabha. And , He can also nominate 12 members of the Rajya Sabha who are famous in the fields of science, art, literature or social service.

President of India is the Highest republic Post in India. President of India has command of all three armies of India.

Dr. Rajendra Prasad was India's first president.

Privileges of President of India :

According to Article 111 (Indian constitution), if any bill is passed in parliament then President has power to apply them as a Law. Or if there is anything wrong then President can send back to re-discussion.

A president has power to appoint Prime Minister on the basis of results of election and can give privilege to make a government and run Parliament.

A president can select members of Rajya sabha from different fields of literature, art, science and experiments.

Under article 156 President has power to dismiss the governor of any state and can govern state till next election.

The President can convert death penalty to life imprisonment.
