☆ PIL

☆ Full form - PIL stands for public interest litigation.

☆ It is a legal structure introduced in 1980 .

☆ It is introduced to increase the access to justice .

Two purposes for which the PIL may be field :

• If something happens wrong with the citizen then he / she can appeal to courts in order to get justice.

• If any of the law implemented by the government which is hurting anyone's fundamental right , then he / she can go to court for justice .

☆ there are three types of courts in our country :-

▪ Lower court
▪ High court
▪ Supreme court

☆ Judicial system

It is the mechanism of courts, that a citizen can approach in case of violation of rights or disputes.

☆ People need courts in order to get justice in case of disputes and to protect their fundamental rights.
