1) Robert Clive(british commander in the battle) was appointed as the governor general of bengal.. He force Shah Alam and Shujaud-daulah to sign the treaties of allahabad
2) Shujaud-daulah,Mir quasim and Shah alam were engaged in the wars against the company's army at buxar.(But they were defeated by the east india company)
