There were multiple situations where I saw someone in dire indeed. Many-a-times, I was not able to help because of shy nature and my trust issues on people, but once I got older and developed experience in life it became easier for me help others.
Anyhow two of my favorite incidents of helping the needy are mentioned below:
I met a man who had an accident. His left hand was fractured after he hit a buffalo which came in front of him while riding his blue Apache. People were all over him, helping him sit and providing water, but no one was thinking of his broken hand. As soon as I reached the spot, I didn't understand which feeling rushed in me; I just got the hold of the guy by the waist, picked him up and rushed straight to the nearest hospital. Then was when I noticed he has other severe bruises on his body. I waited there till he was provided first-aid. Later, I went back to my house. I really forgot to ask the name of the man.
Second incident is miraculous and is really close to my heart. This is so because I was didn't had enough resources for myself and I was away from home, in a reasonably distant state. However, it was mid of May, late in the evening, I saw a 7 to 8 years old girl crying. At that point, I was confused as what to do. Random questions hit my mind. Is the kid lost? Is it a trick? Should I help her? Should I call the police? Eventually, I went near the girl with some edibles and asked her name. Then, I told my name. Later, she told me she was lost while on a trip with her father. I straightforwardly took her to the nearest police station. Fortunately, her father was at the same police station. That moment was like a blessing for all three of us.
