hey!!!

METALS :-

1. metals are hard and shiny in nature.
2. they are malleable means they can be converted into thin sheets when beaten.
3. they are sonorous, they produce sound when beaten.
4. metals are solid at room temperature except mercury.
5. metals are ductile.
6. they react with oxygen, air and water.
7. metals are good conductor of heat and electricity.

NON-METALS :-

1. non-metals are soft and dull in nature except diamond and graphite.
2. they aren't malleable except plastic and rubber
3. they aren't sonorous.
4. non-metals can be solid, liquid or gaseous at room temperature.
5. they aren't ductile except plastic.
6. they don't react witg air or water.
7. non-metals are poor conductors of heat and electricity.

cheers!!!

1.Metal have one to three electrons in their outer shell 1. No metal have 4 to 8 electrons.
2.Metal have a high to moderate density 2.Non metal have a low to moderate density.
3.Metals are opaque 3.Non metal are transparent
4.Metal have a metallic luster 4.while non metals are do not
5.Metals are good conductors of electricity and heat 5.But non metals are poor.

Hope my answer will help you.
