Northern plain is typically divided into PUNJAB plains , BRAHMAPUTRA plains and GANGA plains , PUNJAB plains mainly get the water supply from the INDUS river in the west . on the other hand . BRAHMAPUTRA plain is formed due to the floe of BRAHMAPUTRA river .
