We use LPG gas in our home which is store in cylinder under pressure, we use in our car which is also store in containers under pressure so this show that the gas are highly compressible

As the intermolecular distance between gases is very large i.e. gas molecules are loosely packed, they can be compressed to a great level.

● Daily life examples showing gases are compressible -
- LPG gas is compressed in the cylinder so as to save the storage.
- Gases are compressed to come out vigorously in fire extinguisher.
