The four basic principles of India's foreign policy consists of

(1) Panchsheel includes the five important principles which should be followed under the foreign policy

(2) The policy of non-alignment includes that our country will take an independent stand when it comes to international matters

(3) Resisting racism, colonialism and imperialism

(4) India's foreign policy also includes peaceful settlement of all the international disputes.
