●Characters of mollusca are as follows -

☆They are the second largest animal phylum.

☆They are triploblastic,coelmate,and bilaterally symmetrical.

☆There body is covered with calcareous shell and unsegmented with distinct head muscular foot and visceral hump.

☆They have respiratory and excretory functions .

☆The mouth contains a file like rasping organ for feeding called as radula.

☆Examples -- Pila ,Octopus.
