Gandhi ji always condemned sports like cricket and hockey.

Mahatma Gandhi believes that colonial sports like cricket and hockey were not suitable for Indian becoz of the following reasons;

He believes that these games were not adequate for developing a trained mind and body.

These games were imported to Indian by British and were meant for privileged class. Hence they could not represent the people of India.
