- The independent existence of Matsya Sangh consists of Alwar, Bharatpur, Dolpur and Karauli State became untenable with the formation of greater Rajasthan.
- On 15th May, 1949, the government of India agreed to merge Matsya Union States into Greater Rajasthan. It was done to make the United state of Rajasthan.
