Explanation:

★The Natural Gas is a Mixture from Hydrocarbons, The Main Component in Natural Gas is Methane (CH4) which concentration can be more than 98% of the Mixture.

★★Methane is the lightest Hydrocarbon component as it contains only 1 carbon molecule

★★★The mixture usually contains Ethane (C2H6), Propane (C3H8), Butane (C4H10) and so one.

★★While the components increases towards the heavy hydrocarbons their concentration becomes less than the light ones.

★★Natural Gas can contain also (H2S, CO2… etc.)

★★If the heavy hydrocarbon components concentration is high then a separation processes needs to take place and these heavy components form what we call “Condensate” which is used as a fuel also.
