passive immunisation - when we inject the preformed antibodies or antitoxin
Antihistamine - allergy is cause due to the relase of chemicals like histamine and serotonin from the mast cells.
Antihistamine is a drug which is use to quickly reduce the symptoms of allergy.

1) passive immunisation is used when there is a high risk of infection and insufficient time for the body to develop its own immune response or to reduce the symptoms of ongoing or immunosuppressive disease.
it is provided when the body of a person cannot make its own antibodies.
Eg: foetus squires natural passive immunity from mother through placenta.
2) Antihistamine- they are combination medication used to temporarily relieve the symptoms caused by common cold, flu, allergies or breathing inflections.
they can also relieve watery eyes, itchy nose, sore throat, sneezing , etc...
